What Is CTCP Plate?

CTCP plate is the English abbreviation of Computer To Conventional Plate, which refers to computer direct plate making on the traditional PS plate. As a form of CTP plate technology, in fact, CTCP plate is not the second best to CTP plate. The solution is to derive another new way to complete computer-to-plate making.

As early as the drupa1995 International Printing Expo, the German company BasysPrint launched a prototype UV-Setter plate making machine, demonstrating a new technology that uses UV light sources to expose traditional PS offset printing plates. This can be regarded as the first year of the birth of CTCP plate, and it was also at this drupa exhibition that CTP plate technology debuted in the world for the first time.
